St. Albert Alliance - Hamper Day

As a CAPTAIN for the Hamper Day on November 27th, I will:
  1. Form a team.
    • Suggested group size is 8-10 (approximately 2 family units or the equivalent). This is flexible – a guideline, not a rule.
    • Kids are encouraged to participate along with adults.
    • We encourage you to involve friends and family from outside of our church family on your team. This is a fantastic opportunity to engage neighbors, co-workers, sports team families, etc. and invite them to join you in building a hamper.
  2. Choose a recipient for your team’s food hamper.
    • There are no restrictions – simply identify someone within your team’s relational spheres to bless with a food hamper.
    • Take a few minutes to pray as a team and ask God who he is leading you to bless. It could be someone who has been ill, lost their job, or is new to the community. Just listen, God will give you the answer.
    • Please let us know who your recipient is by or before November 13 (email lwebb@staalliance.orgor call the church office).
  3. Come prepared with a gift card and bags on November 27.
    • As a team, pool together and purchase a $50 grocery gift card to include in your hamper. Bring this with you on Hamper Day.
    • Bring 4 re-useable grocery bags with you when you arrive on November 27.
  4. Attend (or send a representative to) the MANDATORY Captain's Meeting on Sunday, November 20 at 10:30 AM in the auditorium (between Sunday morning services).
*You will receive your team's start time at the Captain's meeting on Sunday, November 20.
